2  ( a pair) GM rear disc brake caliper brackets. only the plates and suggested parts.

the zig goes in on non rear disc set ups.

Black powder coated.These brackets work on left and right rear, staggered shock or not. If staggered use 1992 S-10 2 right side calipers part number C161 grind the small knot off . If not staggered use left and right front.and use 2 brake hoses 78129. Also change rear wheel studs to 1/4 to 1/2 longer. Use 1979 Trans Am rear rotors. available aftermarket. A 4 wheel disc brake equalizer and heavy duty master cylinder are recommended.

These brake will stop  even and effective.and uses the popular gm metric caliper.

These brackets are not for the novice mechanic. require pulling rear axels out removing stock backing plates reinstalling brackets.

Using these caliper eliminates emergency brakes. Available on line are rear calipers with emergency brakes (for 1979 Trans Am.)
